F&S Silver

The World of F&S Silver

Transforming Tomorrow

We began in 1992 as a small family atelier, with a single, stubborn idea: that a piece of jewellery should make the person wearing it feel singular — and that it should outlive them. 34 years later, every ring, every pair of earrings, every pendant that leaves our Istanbul bench is still hand-forged by a silversmith who has been trained inside this family for years before being trusted to sign a piece.

We have never run a production line. We have never cast in series. What we have built instead is a quiet archive of more than a thousand drawings, molds and original sketches — each one made to become a single piece, for a single person. Our pieces are worn in more than ten countries across four continents — from Istanbul to Milan, New York to San José, Beijing to places we only know by the address on the parcel — and they have this much in common: what the wearer has was made only once, by hand, for them.

Our Story

The transforming passion of an artisan family.

F&S Silver atelier — master silversmith at the bench

Since 1992

Born a family atelier

F&S was founded in 1992 as a small workshop inside a family home — a handful of benches, a single anvil, and a promise that every piece would be hand-made from start to finish. 34 years later the atelier has grown, but that promise has not moved a millimetre. The hands on the hammer today were trained by the hands that held it at the beginning.

Bespoke by default

Made for one person, only once

From the very first sketch we have only ever designed in singles. We sit down with a client — sometimes for hours, sometimes over years — until the piece exists on paper. Then we forge it, set it, and hand it over. The mold is archived. It is never pressed again. Over three decades we have built an archive of more than a thousand original designs, and every one of them belongs to a single wearer.

Anatolian stones

Chosen by eye, drawn from the land

Every stone we set is natural and hand-selected, drawn from the hills and rivers of Anatolia where this craft has been practised for millennia. We look for character, not just clarity — a stone with a story is worth more to us than a stone that is merely perfect. The setting is always cut to the stone, never the other way around.

A quiet international house

Worn on five continents

Our pieces are worn in more than ten countries across four continents — Türkiye, Italy, the United States, Costa Rica, China, and a growing list beyond. Clients find us by word of mouth, through collectors, couturiers and friends of the house. What they wear is, in every case, one of one — made by hand, in this room, and never again. We do not advertise. We do not wholesale. The only way in is through a conversation at the bench.

Made to be inherited

Standards that have not moved in 34 years

For 34 years we have held to the same standards — no shortcuts, no substitutions, no silence when something on the bench is not yet good enough. A piece leaves the atelier when it is ready, and only when it is ready. It is made to be worn for a lifetime and then passed on — to a daughter, a grandson, a friend — and to still be finished exactly the way it was on the day it was made.

Visit

Come to the bench.

We welcome visitors to the atelier by private appointment. Watch a piece take shape under the hands of our silversmiths — and, if you wish, commission one of your own.
